By Heart Families, For Heart Families

The Heart 2 Heart Collaborative (H2HC) serves as a vital support network for families and medical professionals navigating the complexities of pediatric congenital heart disease. Founded by parents of children with heart defects, H2HC partners with healthcare providers to enhance the care experience and outcomes for all involved.

Duke Children's Hospital plays a pivotal role in this collaborative effort, offering advanced surgical interventions and a compassionate care environment. The hospital's pediatric heart surgery program is nationally recognized for its expertise and innovative treatments.

Mission:

H2HC is a non-profit organization made up of parents, caregivers, and hospital staff who believe in quality, holistic patient-family care for heart families at the Duke Pediatric & Congenital Heart Center. In order to effectively impact patient-family care, we collaborate with providers, strengthen support for families, and educate ourselves and others as we work to enhance the heart family experience.
